Dante Alighieri Society Limited, a branch of Società Dante Alighieri Roma (Dante Alighieri Society in Rome), is a registered Charitable Institution in Hong Kong, promoting the Italian language studies and culture throughout the world.
We offer a variety of Italian courses ranging from A1.1 to Advanced levels. For advanced students, we also offer courses that provide an insight of the Italian culture. Our teachers can also teach in your company and tailor-make a course to suit your needs.
In May and November, we organize the examinations of PLIDA. This is the only examination in Hong Kong to ascertain Italian language proficiency and it is recognized by the Italian Government.
To promote the Italian culture and tradition, we are in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in Hong Kong, Italian Chamber of Commerce, Scuola Manzoni, our Corporate Members and other Italian cultural associations, to organize the Italian cultural activities, such as “Bellissima Italia”, concert, wine tasting, outdoor Italian lesson and cooking classes.
What’s more? We offer fast and accurate translation services to and from the Italian language. We can also provide certified and legalized translation as well as urgent translation within 24 hours. Our Corporate members can enjoy a 10% discount on translation fees.
To support us as DA members, you can enjoy a lot of privileges such as special discounts for wine and Italian food.
In September 2021, we moved to a new office situated in the heart of Wan Chai, which allowed us to expand significantly our ability to carry out our mission. The classrooms were generously sponsored by Giorgio Armani, Delvis, Generali, NRT and Sips and the library was sponsored by Dino Capelvenere Cavaliere Ufficiale.
