Storytelling for kids – Storie alla Dante (C022202)

No matter where and how we learn, stories are the undoubted powerhouses of language learning. They stimulate our imagination and they support language learning by creating memorable contexts for new vocabulary and grammatical structures.

Our storytelling sessions aim to provide a fun and engaging 60 minutes immersion into Italian language. Our sessions include both reading classic Italian stories, and assisting children to create their own fantasy stories!

Requirements: children aged 4-10 years old, no Italian knowledge required.

Course Duration: 5 weeks

Time: 16:00 – 17:00

Dates: 21/6 – 28/6 – 5/7 – 12/7 – 19/7

Il laboratorio dei sogni – Italian playgroup (C022203)

The children will discover fundamental elements, such as alphabet, sounds and words; through engaging activities, they will develop basic communication skills and simple interaction rules in Italian language. Learning by doing  expressing is the way: during each lesson, the children will be able to express themselves through art and craft activities to make the point on what they learnt.

Requirements: children aged 4-6 years old, no Italian knowledge required.

Course Duration: 6 weeks

Time: 15:30 – 17:00

Dates: 14/6 – 16/6 – 21/6 – 23/6 – 28/6 – 30/6

Body Sensory Adventures – Laboratorio sensoriale (C022204)

Children accompanied by an adult are invited to take part in this total-physical experience: children learn and develop new skills more quickly when they engage whole body activities, which help them focusing their attention and improve their brain function.

Requirements: children aged 2-3 years old (accompanied), no Italian knowledge required.

Course Duration: 5 weeks

Time: 11:00 – 12:00

Drama classes in Italian – Teatro per bambini (C022205)

Our engaging drama classes in Italian will give your children the chance to explore their imagination and create stories through drama techniques. The magic of theatre and nursery rhymes will become a powerful tool to encourage your children to practice and improve their Italian, while bringing traditional Italian stories to life.

Requirements: children aged 4-7 years old, no Italian knowledge required.

Course Duration: 9 weeks

    You can transfer the fee to our HSBC account and email us the transfer slip for our reference. (Bank details will be sent to you upon receipt of your enrollment)
    3. In person
    You can come to our office and pay for it by cash (exact amount), EPS or cheque payable to “Dante Alighieri Society Limited” during our office hours. (no credit card)


    IMPORTANT NOTES

    1. Fees must be paid within 3 working days after submission of the enrollment. Otherwise, enrollment will be automatically cancelled without further notice.
    2. Fees are not refundable or transferable, unless cancellation made at least 7 days before the commencement of the course.
    3. We, Dante Alighieri Society., reserve the right to alter the teacher, time and content of courses offered, if necessary.
    4. Only registered students are allowed to enter the classroom during the lessons.
    5. Bad weather arrangement
    6. A. Refund Policies:
    • If a course cannot be operated on the date or at the time specified in the course leaflet and students decline the revised arrangements offered by us, we will refund in full or on a pro-rata basis the course fee collected to students as soon as possible and in any event not later than one month after the student’s parent/guardian has requested for the refund.
    • In case of cessation of a course after its commencement, we will refund to students the course fee collected on a pro-rata basis as soon as possible and in any event not later than one month after the cessation of the course.

    B. Refund Procedures:
    • We will inform student’s parent/guardian of the refund arrangement either over the telephone or in writing. Their parents or guardians can proceed with the refund procedures on behalf of the students.
    • We will refund students in accordance with the above policies.
    • When processing the refund, we will not take away the original fee receipts. Upon receipt of the refund, student’s parent/guardian should sign to acknowledge the receipt.
    • We will pay the refund by cheque within one month.
    • In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Dante Alighieri Society shall be final and binding.
