Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms) carefully before using our 2022 Il Mercatino Promotion (“Voucher”) operated by Dante Alighieri Society Limited (“Company”).
By confirming your order using the Voucher you are accepting these terms and conditions. Any terms which you seek to impose in respect of the order for the Voucher through this site will not form part of any contract between us.
If you have any queries on these terms, please contact us before ordering using the Voucher. We recommend that you print a copy of our Terms and Conditions for your future reference.
1. Details of Voucher:
1.1 This promotion should apply to any enrollment in any Italian Group Course offered by the Company under the Term 3/2022 schedule and Term 1/2023 and this promotion is only available from 12th November 2022 till 31st May 2023.
1.2 The Voucher entitles you $300 off the current group course you choose to enroll in.
1.3 You must email the Company in advance of your intention to redeem the Voucher at the time of enrollment.
2 Voucher Restrictions
2.1 This Voucher is only applicable to newly-enrolled students who have attended event for Il Mercatino Event 2022 located at PMQ, Central.
2.2 This Voucher is only applicable to our Adult Group Courses, and cannot be used for our Private Lessons, Corporate Courses, Children’s Courses nor our Membership or Cultural Events.
2.3 This Voucher cannot be combined alongside other promotions or discounts, such as early bird discounts, and is valid for a single transaction only.
2.4 This Voucher cannot be exchanged or redeemed in cash, both fully and partially and is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.5 To redeem this Voucher, you must enroll in your next group course under the Term 3/2022 or Term 1/2023 schedule.
2.6 This Voucher must be presented in physical form and can only be redeemed upon settling the course fee at our Company’s center at Room 702, 7/F Hong Kong Arts Centre, 2 Harbour Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong.
2.7 Defaced or damaged physical vouchers will not be accepted.
3. Liabilities
3.1. The Company shall not be responsible for the loss of any Vouchers or any damage, injury, illness, accident, expense, or any other claim arising from involvement in the goods and/or services provided.
3.2. As the mode of instruction may be subject to change from face-to-face to online, or vice versa, at the discretion of the Company and in accordance with the instructions from the Education Bureau and the situation in Hong Kong, there will be no refunds given based on preferred method of learning.
4. Returns and Guarantees
4.1 If a course enrolled with this Voucher is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, you will be entitled to a full refund of the course fee and retain the voucher for any future use, and the refund of group course fee shall be available within one month after the confirmation. This should be collected as soon as possible and, in any event, not later than one month after said request.
4.2 Our school will inform students of the refund arrangement in writing. For students aged below 18, their parents or guardians can proceed with the refund procedures on behalf of the students.
5. Copyright Infringement
5.1. All services and contents of the Company’s site and promotional materials are subject to the rules in the Trademark Ordinance (Cap.559) and the Hong Kong Basic Law.
5.2. You may not modify, publish, transmit, or participate in the transfer or sale of our goods and services nor create derivative works from the Company to display or exploit in any format whatsoever. The Company reserves the right to remove you from our services and ability to the use said Voucher without refund if you are caught violating our intellectual private property.
Acceptable Use of Our Services:
1. You must use the Service only for purposes as permitted by this Agreement and any applicable law, regulation, or generally accepted practice in Hong Kong. In the case of a dispute, the decision of the Company shall be final.
2. You agree to use our Services only for legal, authorized, and acceptable purposes. You will not use (or assist others in using) our Services in ways that: (a) violate or infringe the rights of the Company, its staff and students and or others or (b) involve sending illegal or impermissible communications to impersonate or harm others in the Company’s name.
3. To report a violation of our policies, please contact the Company as we reserve the right to change this policy at any given time, of which you will be promptly updated.
