Three operas for the price of one!
Giacomo Puccini’s “Trittico” are three one-act operas that feature passion and drama, pathos and redemption, and love and humor. Designed as preparation for the upcoming Opera Hong Kong 25-26 August performances of two of them — “Suor Angelica” and “Gianni Schicchi” — we’re including the third — “Il Tabarro” — for contrast.

These three works feature music that ranges from sparingly dramatic to achingly touching and includes what is perhaps Puccini’s best-known and best-loved aria “O mio babbino caro” — all sung by great singers of yesterday and today.
