Come to discover the popular Italian game of BOCCE RAFFA & VOLO and make new friends! On 28th July we will host a FREE WORKSHOP in collaboration with the Bocce Association of Hong Kong, who provide regular local and overseas training and develop the qualified players’ team to take part into international competitions.
The game of bocce comes from ancient games played during the Roman Empire. They were first played in 18th century Italy, while the first Italian League was formed in 1947 in Rivoli (Torino), marking the beginning of the yearly Bocce World Championships. It then spread all over the world through Italian migrants.
The sport of bocce raffa & volo is really suitable for everyone, from an early age up to senior. They are famous for promoting active aging, resulting in great improvement in national health quality.
During the event, the experts from the Bocce Association will present and demonstrate the game, and after that you will be invited to experience the sport first hand!
