SUMMARY:2021 Calendar Photo Contest
DESCRIPTION:  \nDear students\, friends and members of Dante Alighieri Society\, \nWe are thrilled to launch our fourth Calendar Photo Contest entitled “… E quindi uscimmo a riveder le stelle” (“… And then we emerged to see the stars again”). \nNext year we will celebrate the 700th anniversary of the death of Dante Alighieri\, the father of Italian and a great poet. We will choose some of the most famous verses of his Divine Comedy as a theme for the Dante Alighieri Calendar 2021 Photo Contest. \nPlease share with us your most beautiful pictures of Italy\, that inspire hope\, happiness and beauty. Like Dante Alighieri\, at the end of his journey in the Inferno\, he came back to the light and the stars. Let’s celebrate a new year of vitality and joy! \nEligibility\nThe photo contest is open to everyone who lives in Hong Kong. Each photographer may enter max. three (3) photographs. Photographers may only submit their own photographs. Free entry. \nHow to enter\nAll images can be submitted to event@ladante.cc with the email subject “2021 Calendar Photo Contest”. Photographers should provide their names\, contact methods\, image captions such as a description and where the photos were taken. \nDeadline\nThe deadline for the submission is Sun 15 Nov 2021\, 6:00 PM. \nPhoto requirements\nOnly horizontal images will be considered. The photos can be taken in Italy or elsewhere when the theme is matched. All images submitted must be digital. Entries may be up to 10 megabytes\, highest-quality JPG or JPEG format\, and at 300 dpi. \nImage filenames\nAll photos must be renamed before submitting. Original (camera) filenames are not acceptable. Filenames must contain the photographer’s name\, location or short description. Rename all images before submitting as follows: firstname-lastname_description (example: “mario-rossi_milano.jpg”). Please make sure the description matches the photo. \nJudging\nJudging will take place the week following the submission deadline. Dante Alighieri Society in Hong Kong will judge the photographs and choose 13 winners — one for each month and one for the calendar cover. \nWinners\nWinners receive one calendar and one 2021 Silver Dante Alighieri Membership ($750). Winners will be notified by phone and/or email after judging has been completed. \nCopyright\nBy entering\, photographers declare that the photos are their original photos and grant an unrestricted\, irrevocable\, non-exclusive license to Dante Alighieri Society in Hong Kong and its affiliates to post\, display\, publish and use your entry photo(s) in any form (including in cropped or edited form\, as Dante Alighieri Society in Hong Kong deems appropriate and necessary) without further compensation. \nFor more information\, please call us at +852 2832 9799 or email at event@ladante.cc.
