SUMMARY:2023 Calendar Photo Contest
DESCRIPTION:Dear students\, friends\, and members of Dante Alighieri Society\, \nWe are thrilled to launch our sixth Calendar Photo Contest entitled “I colori dell’Italia”. The theme of this year’s calendar wants to celebrate the beauty of Italy through its colors. \nPlease share with us your most “colorful” pictures of Italy. A breathtaking sunset over Naples\, the colorful houses of Burano islands\, a delicious ice cream\, all those photos that remind you of your time in Italy and where the colors are protagonists. \nNever been to Italy? Don’t worry\, Italian culture can be found also around Hong Kong\, so you are welcome to send pictures inspired by Italy. \nLet’s discover together the colors of Italy’s landscapes\, flavors\, and people! \nEligibility \nThe photo contest is open to everyone. Each photographer may enter max. three (3) photographs. Photographers may only submit their own photographs. Free entry. \nHow to enter \nAll colorful images can be submitted to event@ladante.cc with the email subject “2023 Calendar Photo Contest“. Photographers should provide their names\, contact methods\, image captions such as a description and where the photos were taken. \nDeadline \nThe deadline for the submission is TUE 15 Nov 2022\, 6:00 PM. \nPhoto requirements \nOnly horizontal images will be considered. The photos can be taken in Italy or elsewhere when the theme is matched. All images submitted must be digital. Entries may be up to 10 megabytes\, highest-quality JPG or JPEG format\, and at 300 dpi. \nImage filenames \nAll photos must be renamed before submitting. Original (camera) filenames are not acceptable. Filenames must contain the photographer’s name\, location or short description. Rename all images before submitting as follows: firstname-lastname_description (example: “mario-rossi_milano.jpg”). Please make sure the description matches the photo. \nJudging \nJudging will take place the week following the submission deadline. Dante Alighieri Society in Hong Kong will judge the photographs and choose 13 winners — one for each month and one for the calendar cover. \nWinners \n13 photos will be selected. The author of the cover photo will receive a 50% discount voucher for our group classes (max $1650\, depending on the course fee of the selected course). All the 13 winners will receive one calendar and one 2023 Silver Dante Alighieri Membership ($800).
