SUMMARY:2024 Calendar Photo Contest
DESCRIPTION:Dear students\, friends\, and members of Dante Alighieri Society\, \nNext year the Dante Alighieri Society in Hong Kong will celebrate its 90th Anniversary since its opening in the city. To celebrate this important milestone\, we are thrilled to launch a special edition of our annual Calendar Photo Contest. \nThe theme of this year’s calendar is “Italian Language & Culture at Dante”\, to remember the moments that made the history of our school. \nPlease share with us the photos that best summarize your time at Dante: a picture with your classmates or from an event organized by our school ( make sure everyone in the pictures agrees to be included in the calendar). \n  \nEligibility \nThe photo contest is open to everyone. Each photographer may enter max. three (3) photographs. Photographers may only submit their own photographs. Free entry. \n  \nHow to enter \nAll images can be submitted to event@ladante.cc with the email subject “2024 Calendar Photo Contest”. Photographers should provide their names\, contact methods\, image captions such as a description and year the photos were taken. \n  \nDeadline \nThe deadline for the submission is FRI 15 Dec 2023\, 6:00 PM. \n  \nPhoto requirements \nAll images submitted must be digital. Entries may be up to 10 megabytes\, highest-quality JPG or JPEG format\, and at 300 dpi. \nPLEASE NOTE: by submitting your photos\, participants declare that they were given permission by all people visible in the picture to be featured in the calendar\, exempting Dante Alighieri Society in Hong Kong from any liability. \n  \nImage filenames \nAll photos must be renamed before submitting. Original (camera) filenames are not acceptable. Filenames must contain the photographer’s name\, year and short description. Rename all images before submitting as follows: firstname-lastname_year_description (example: “mario-rossi_2016_italian class.jpg”). Please make sure the description matches the photo. \n  \nJudging \nJudging will take place the week following the submission deadline. Dante Alighieri Society in Hong Kong will judge the photographs and choose 1 winner  for one of the calendar months. \n  \nWinners \nOne photo will be selected. The author of the cover photo will receive a 50% discount voucher for our group classes (max $1\,800\, depending on the course fee of the selected course). While the other suitable contributions will be included in the calendar cover collage. \n  \nCopyright \nBy entering\, photographers declare that the photos are their original photos and grant an unrestricted\, irrevocable\, non-exclusive license to Dante Alighieri Society in Hong Kong and its affiliates to post\, display\, publish and use your entry photo(s) in any form (including in cropped or edited form\, as Dante Alighieri Society in Hong Kong deems appropriate and necessary) without further compensation. \nFor more information\, please call us at +852 2832 9799 or email at event@ladante.cc
